Can you define what inspires someone to create?
We could say it is "God" or the "Tao." And yes that can be a fine way to explain but it never really captures it, does it?
And maybe such as the muse cafe our inspirations come from just being and living the beauty of life.
In the crossroads of River West (old schoolers will tell you West Town) you'll find a culture hub of The Chicago Dramatists, The Suzuki-Orff School of Music and Intuit Gallery. muse cafe fits nicely as a fully functional coffeehouse, eclectic eatery, modern art gallery and jazz and electronic venue. You'll find delicious sandwiches, strong to sweet coffees and unforgettable crepes.
Easily one can hop the El and take it to the Chicago Ave. Blue Line stop for an evening of wine and snacks while enjoying a show. muse is BYOB after 7PM.
During the day the neighborhood enjoys our harty lunches and fine tomato basil soup (the house specialty).
With the summer approaching, muse offers tasty natural smooties and all it's specialty coffees in iced variation for a cool down.
muse seats 35 or so and private events can be scheduled by calling during business hours.
Will this inspire you?
We like to think that the beauty of the muse is that it is.
